The Philodendron Calkins Gold is a very unique and hard to find philodendron. It has long lance shaped leaves that are very bright yellow with mottled green throughout. A fun plant to grow and enjoy!
PLANT CARE:
Light: Philodendron Calkins Gold prefers low indirect light. This philodendron can tolerate moderate light conditions as well. We recommend keeping this variety out of the bright direct sun. Bright direct sun will burn the foliage over time.
Water:This philodendron should be allowed to dry out between waterings. It may be watered after the top two inches are dry to the touch. Overwatering this variety may lead to root rot. We would recommend under-watering, as opposed to overwatering the Philodendron Calkins Gold.
Potting mixture: Potting Soil + Cocopeat + Organic manure/Vermicompost at equal parts and 5% perlite.
• Considerations: This plant can't handle much direct sunlight. Extra humidity will help the leaves grow big and healthy. Keep away from heating/AC vents and drafty locations.
