Rhipsalis Baccifera is an evergreen but leafless, succulent, epiphytic plant with hanging stems up to 1.8 metres long. The cactus has pencil thin succulent stems that may reach 6 feet in length. The thick skin of the stems does not produce thorns, but it does have almost imperceptible bumps on the surface of the plant.
Light: It likes a good bright sunlight spot– full sun to partial shade. Place it in the window or balcony with bright indirect lighting.
Watering and Feeding:
Allow the soil to dry out completely between watering, and decrease the watering frequency during winter time.
Fertilizer is recommended throughout the growing season. With a succulent, use a granular fertilizer in the soil or liquid fertilizer applied when watering.
This plant deserves a prominent spot where it can show off its distinctive foliage. The small size makes it a perfect plant for growing on a windowsill or in a hanging basket.
