Faucaria tigrina is a compact clump-forming succulent perennial, rosette, usually stemless. It is a very handsome plant with soft white teeth along the edges. They look like little alligator jaws. In the garden they slowly sucker growing in a circle larger and larger until they come up upon another plant making a unique carpet of plant completely covering the ground.
Light: It likes a good bright sunlight spot– full sun to partial shade. Place it in the window with bright indirect lighting.
Watering and Feeding:
Allow the soil to dry out completely between watering, and decrease the watering frequency during winter time.
Fertilizer is recommended throughout the growing season. With a succulent, use a granular fertilizer in the soil or liquid fertilizer applied when watering.
This plant deserves a prominent spot where it can show off its distinctive foliage. The small size makes it a perfect plant for growing on a windowsill.
