The Ponytail Palm is drought tolerant, slow-growing, and requires very little care. This plant is ideal for people with very little time or who travel regularly. The Ponytail Palm will be perfectly happy being watered every couple of weeks and left alone to soak up the sunlight.
PLANT CARE:
Light: Ponytail palm prefers to have as much light as possible, so place the plant in bright location. Bright indirect sunlight is best.
Watering: Keep soil fairly dry. Let top one or two inch of soil dry out between watering. During winter, only water occassionally.
DO'S AND DONT'S AFTER RECEIVING THE PLANT:
- Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving. We’ve taken care of that with better pot and rich soil.
- Check for the moisture level once you receive the plant. If its optimally moist do not water the plant. If the potting mixture is half dry then water the plant.
